TradTöchter—that’s new violin music! These are groovy original compositions and spicy arrangements of traditional dance tunes and songs.
The two musicians love traditional dance music just as much as modern folk and play music for dancing, listening, and letting loose. Enchanting original melodies join rousing arrangements of traditional pieces and songs. For the two violinists bring not only instrumental melodies to dance halls and concert halls, but also trall and singing. Sometimes gentle, sometimes wild, about longing, golden rings, the wide sea, wild escapades, and rotten apples.
The duo TradTöchter came together in early 2016 and enchants dancers as well as listeners, making ears dance and feet listen.
